What is fibre-reinforced plastic?

Fiberglass reinforced polymer, also known as fiberglass FRP or GRP, is an innovative plastic composite material made from dry glass fibers mixed with polyester. This combination of materials creates an exceptionally durable and rigid composition that is an excellent choice for a variety of construction projects. Fiberglass is considered an economical alternative to conventional building materials, offering a number of significant advantages. This material is not inferior to steel in strength, but is significantly lighter, has excellent corrosion resistance and stands out for its sustainability compared to many other building materials.

CE-marking

In our projects, only top-level CE-marked fiberglass products are used, thereby ensuring that the products in our selection meet the regulatory requirements of the European Union.

Light weight

The light weight makes the work process easier and helps to significantly save weight on the finished construction. 4 times lighter than steel.

Great strength

FRP profiles combine the strength of steel, but their density is one-fourth that of steel. However, the density of aluminum profiles is 30% lower than that of steel.

Corrosion resistance

Our high-quality material is exceptionally resistant to corrosion, which ensures its long-term durability even under the influence of the most aggressive chemicals and liquids. This excellent property makes the material an excellent choice for use in extreme environmental conditions where conventional materials may not hold up.

Chemical resistance

Created by our highly skilled designers, the profiles are specially developed to withstand a wide range of different chemicals. They can be used, for example, in various water and chemical companies.

Electrical insulation

GRP-profiles provide excellent electrical insulation and simplify the installation of grounding systems. Check out our future-proof profiles that allow you to save on both installation and subsequent inspections.

Easy to process

The processing of GRP profiles is as simple and fast as for wood. Therefore, solutions using our profiles can be easily installed or adapted on site with existing components such as pipe systems.

Thermal insulation

Fiber plastic has significantly less heat loss than steel and aluminum, contributing to the development of energy-efficient end products. In addition, it helps to significantly reduce icing during the winter, thus ensuring greater safety.

Minimal maintenance

Fiberplastic profiles are known for their exceptional durability, which ensures the long-term durability of products even in the most demanding and harsh industrial environments.

Sustainability

The fiberglass profiles are made in an environmentally friendly process that is optimized for energy efficiency.
