Fiberglass ladders, railings and stairs were now installed in Tallinn’s sewage wells to ensure greater safety and longer durability. Fiberglass materials are widely known for their exceptional corrosion resistance and lightness, which makes them an ideal choice for wet and chemically aggressive environments such as sewage wells. These new installations significantly reduce the need for maintenance and extend the life of the systems, while providing safer and more convenient access for maintenance personnel who regularly work in these areas.
We installed ladders in five different wells around Tallinn. In addition to the ladders, we also installed six three- to six-meter stairs and railings on each platform in one well. The depth of this well was approximately 35 meters.
